Ted Harris
Ted brings with him over 27 years of investment experience. His career began in the Yale Investments Office as part of the small team charged with managing Yale’s $40 billion endowment. This was a formative time, given that Yale’s investment performance and innovative approach have been industry leading over the past 30 years.
He also worked for The Rockefeller Foundation in New York, prior to joining a wealth management firm based in Denver, focused on families.
Having lived through the sale of his own family's business, which they owned and operated for three generations, Ted has seen the value a trusted advisor can bring to entrepreneurial families. He recognizes the importance of alignment, and invests their family's capital side by side with Schoolcraft's clients.
Ted earned an MBA from Yale University and studied international economics at Oxford University. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska where he was an NCAA Champion, Academic All‐American, and Student Athlete of the Year.
He sits on the investment committees for The University of Nebraska Foundation, The Colorado School of Mines, and St. Anne's Episcopal School.
Ted lives in Denver with his wife, Stephanie, and their two daughters.
